Happy New Year! With 2013 upon us, many people’s thoughts turn to resolutions for the coming year. My advice? Take some time to focus on You. Whether it’s losing weight, or finally getting that blood pressure under better control, this is the perfect time to think about self-improvement and self-awareness. In most cases, what prevents people from achieving their goals and satisfying their resolutions are the perceived obstacles of time and effort. But losing weight and improving your health are two things that can be accomplished by working on small tasks and measuring small accomplishments. In other words, take only 5 or 10 minutes a day to work on your goal. By working on small sections, it should be easier to find both the time and motivation to accomplish these goals. Good luck, and please let our office know if we can help in any way with improving your health. Happy 2013!
